Topic:                    The Fourth Industrial Revolution’s Impact on the Workplace and the Australian Grand Prix

Laura Anderson is an international company director, entrepreneur and philanthropist.  She has worked extensively across governments and industries locally and globally in trade, investment and infrastructure development.

Laura is Chairman of SVI Global.  Laura is a long-standing Australia Day Ambassador and a Board Member of the Fulbright Commission, the Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Technology in Schools, Epworth HealthCare, The Defence Science Institute, the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, the National Basketball League and supports the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem as Chairman of LaunchVic.

Laura was honoured as an Ambassador of International Women’s Day on its 100th anniversary.  She was honoured as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Transport for her contributions to industry and appointed a Governor of the American Chamber of Commerce.  Laura is emeritus Chair of the CEO Circle and immediate past Chairman of the Melbourne Fashion Festival, one of the largest and most respected consumer fashion festivals in the world.

From her early years in the U.S. as a technology entrepreneur, Laura has continued to evolve in her role as a global citizen – embracing health, education and economic development.  She believes in empowering the next generation, enabling women and comprehensive workforce participation.  Laura is passionate about backing the stars of tomorrow who just need the opportunity to shine.
