Guest Speaker: Mark Stone AM CE of VCCI
Topic: Victoria’s booming population and business opportunities
Mark Stone CE of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Victoria’s peak industry body has an inside edge of the changing business dynamics in Victoria. Mark will discuss our thriving economy and commercial opportunities post the automotive manufacturing industry, the prevailing Industrial Relations Landscape climate and our sustained population growth.
Mark was awarded an Order of Australia (AM) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours (2016). He is a Director on the Board of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), an Australia Day Ambassador and Fellow of the Williamson Leadership program. Mark was on the Board of Tourism Australia for 6 years. Prior to joining the Victorian Chamber, Mark was the Chief Executive of Tourism Victoria, following 12 years as Chief Executive of Parks Victoria who manage one fifth of Victoria’s land area and employ 1200 staff.
Mark has a strong interest in assisting Victorian business owners and senior management, by facilitating access to the existing framework of business support services already available.
